We’re thrilled to invite BC families to participate in the Charity Challenge this June!

Join Team TFBC for our in-person run/walk on Sunday, June 22, or participate virtually from anywhere throughout the month of June.

This marks our 12th year of bringing the NF community together for this inspiring event. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking to get moving for a great cause, we’d love for you to join us! By participating, you’ll help raise funds and awareness for individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis (NF). Every dollar supports vital initiatives like the NF Health Line and education programs across BC.

Not up for an in-person event? No problem!

The virtual option lets you participate anytime, anywhere. Run, walk, bike, swim, or hike—it’s your race, your way.

Here’s How You Can Get Involved:

1. Join Our Team: Sign up to run or walk with Team TFBC and raise funds for an incredible cause.
2. Support Our Team: Sponsor a participant or donate to the team as a whole — your contribution makes a huge impact.

When:

Online: June 1–30, 2025
In-Person: June 22, 2025 (in Vancouver)

Where:

Online: Complete your race in your neighbourhood, on trails, at the park, or even in your living room. You choose! Log your time and distance online.

In-Person: Meet us in Vancouver on June 22. Location details coming soon!

How to Register

Registration is simple—email us at info@tumourfoundation.ca, and we’ll help you get started. Commit to raising at least $100, and we’ll cover the $50 registration fee!

Are you ready to join the Tumour Foundation of BC’s 5km Charity Challenge on June 22? Whether you’re a walker or a new runner, we’re here to help you get to the finish line with confidence and pride. These training plans are designed to guide you step-by-step, building your endurance and strength over 8 weeks.

Each plan is flexible and beginner-friendly, created to inspire you to reach your goals at your own pace. Choose the plan that best suits your current fitness level, and remember, it’s not about how fast you go—it’s about celebrating every step forward and making a difference in the lives of those living with NF.

Important Notes Before You Begin:

  • Check with your doctor to ensure it’s safe for you to start an exercise program.
  • These plans are just a guide. We encourage you to listen to your body and adjust the training as needed.
  • Whether you’re walking or running, every step brings us closer to creating awareness and support for the NF community. Let’s get moving together!
